About us

The company SPUR plastic recycling s.r.o. was created as a joint project of SPUR a.s. and EKOTREND Ludky s.r.o., when on March 1, 2024 SPUR a.s. took over all recycling activities, including the production area, from JELÍNEK – TRADING spol. s.r.o. (see press release)

Our specialization is the processing of polyolefin waste, especially materials such as LDPE, HDPE and PP. We are committed to increasing the level of ecological sustainability and therefore focus on the processing of waste obtained from municipal and post-industrial sources with the aim of achieving full product circularity.

Custom-made regranulates and compounds

Our production covers a wide range of PP and HDPE Regranulates and compounds for diverse industrial applications. Formulations are designed and developed to meet the individual requirements of our customers, such as colour and mechanical-physical properties.

Regranulates and compounds made of polypropylene and polyethylene are suitable for plastics extrusion and injection molding technologies.

Our recycling process is certified to the RECYCLASS standard in accordance with EN 15343.

Thanks to financial and business support from SPUR a.s. and knowledge potential in the field of recycling of EKOTREND Ludky s.r.o. we have enough resources and know-how to increase our recycling capacities and adapt to the latest trends and technologies. We are also preparing for the new European Union recycling rules, which we plan to meet by 2030. We want to offer our customers products and services that not only respect the environment, but also bring real commercial benefits.

History

The company JELÍNEK – TRADING spol. s.r.o. has specialized in plastic recycling since the 1990s, and was thus one of the first companies in the Czech Republic to systematically deal with meaningful processing of plastic waste for reuse. In 2000, the company bought the operation of North Moravian raw materials, creating a production site in Křelov-Břuchotín focused exclusively on recycling and regranulation of plastics. Since the turn of the millennium, it has gradually expanded in the field of plastic recycling, focusing mainly on post-industrial waste.
